Bangkok offers significantly lower treatment costs compared to many countries, without compromising on clinical standards. Our laboratory uses the same protocols, equipment, and quality benchmarks as our affiliated fertility centres internationally.

Treatment Plans
How many trips will I need?
The number of visits to Bangkok depends on your treatment type. Below are the three most common plans. Your doctor will confirm the right approach after your initial consultation.
Egg Freezing Treatment Plan
1 visit to Thailand — approximately 11–14 days

Basic Examination
Initial assessment including ultrasound, hormone blood work, and consultation with your fertility specialist.
Menstrual Cycle → Start Treatment (Days 2–4)
Ultrasound monitoring, start ovulation induction medication, blood draw.
Continue Ovulation Induction (Days 4–11)
Follow-up visits for ultrasound monitoring and blood work to track follicle development.
Follow-Up / Trigger Shot
Final monitoring. Trigger injection administered. Egg retrieval scheduled 34–36 hours after trigger.
Egg Retrieval (Days 11–14)
Egg retrieval procedure under sedation. Eggs assessed for maturity and vitrified (frozen) the same day. You can return home shortly after.
IVF + PGT-A Treatment Plan
2 visits to Thailand
1st Trip — Egg Retrieval (11–14 day stay)

Embryo Biopsy & Freezing (5–6 Days After Fertilisation)
Blastocyst biopsy for PGT-A. Embryos vitrified. Biopsy results in approximately 2 weeks. You can return home after retrieval.
2nd Trip — Embryo Transfer (2-day stay)

Start endometrial medication on cycle days 2–3.

Follow-Up at Local Clinic (Cycle Days 11–14)
Ultrasound, blood draw, confirm endometrial thickness at a clinic near your home.

Fly to Bangkok for the transfer. Take progesterone after transfer. Pregnancy test at local clinic 9 days after transfer.

IVF + PGT-A Treatment Plan
3 visits to Thailand — for patients who prefer shorter individual stays
1st Trip — Ovulation Medications (2-day stay)
Basic Male/Female Examination
Initial consultation and assessment.
Start Treatment (Cycle Days 2–4)
Ultrasound, blood draw, start ovulation induction. Continue medication monitoring at a local clinic near home.
Continue at Local Clinic (Days 4–11)
Ovulation Monitoring at Home
Follow-up ultrasound and blood draw at a local clinic. Trigger shot administered locally when ready.
2nd Trip — Egg Retrieval (3–5 day stay)
Egg & Sperm Retrieval + Fertilisation (Days 11–14)
Fly to Bangkok for egg retrieval 34–36 hours after trigger. Sperm collection. Fertilisation via ICSI.
Embryo Biopsy & Freezing (5–6 Days After)
Blastocyst biopsy for PGT-A. Embryos vitrified. Results in approximately 2 weeks. Return home.
3rd Trip — Embryo Transfer (2-day stay)

Fly to Bangkok. Embryo transfer procedure. Progesterone support. Pregnancy test at local clinic 9 days after transfer.

Document preparation
Thai law requires specific documentation for assisted reproductive technology (ART) treatments. Please prepare the following before travelling to Bangkok.
IUI (Artificial Insemination)

Surgical Precautions: The egg retrieval procedure is scheduled to begin at 8:00 AM. An adult companion is required to accompany the patient during anaesthesia. Prior to the procedure, an anaesthesia assessment (including blood tests) is required.

How do I start the process?
Contact us via WhatsApp, LINE, or email. Share any existing test results or medical history. Our international team will arrange an initial consultation (online or in-person) and recommend the most suitable treatment plan.
What languages does the clinic support?
Our team provides consultation and support in English, Thai, and Mandarin Chinese. Translation assistance is available throughout your treatment.
Can I do monitoring at my local clinic?
Yes. For the 3-visit IVF plan, ovulation monitoring (ultrasound and blood work) can be done at a clinic near your home between trips. Your ABC doctor will provide the monitoring instructions for your local physician. The same applies for endometrial monitoring before your embryo transfer trip.
Do I need my spouse to be present?
For IUI and IVF treatments, both spouses must be present with original passports and marriage documentation — this is a Thai legal requirement. For egg or sperm freezing as an individual, only the patient needs to be present.
How long do I need to stay for each trip?
Egg freezing: 11–14 days (1 trip). IVF 2-visit plan: 11–14 days (retrieval) + 2 days (transfer). IVF 3-visit plan: 2 days (initial) + 3–5 days (retrieval) + 2 days (transfer). Your doctor will confirm the exact timeline based on your cycle.
What happens after embryo transfer?
You will take progesterone medication after the transfer and can fly home the following day. A pregnancy blood test (hCG) is done at a local clinic approximately 9 days after transfer. Our team will follow up with you on results.
